A Little Bit of Crazy: Iowa Roadtrip

We headed to Iowa this weekend to celebrate Festivas with my dad in Shenandoah. The trip was pretty exciting since it was Jackson's first road trip and Aunt Julie rode with us. There was not much room in our backseat with 2 carseats, Julie, and Choxie! And I know that Julie's favorite part was listening to Addy's favorite song, Maneater by Nelly Furtado, a little over 20 times and singing songs for entertainment! Julie probably never wants to ride with us again!

It was good to get back to Shen and see everyone. We hung out with Grandma Cheryl and went shopping on Sat, had Festivas Saturday night, and hung out for awhile on Sunday. Addy was a hit Saturday night as she opened a giant carebear from Papa George. She loves that bear and even had it in time out by the time the night was over! Not to mention that she slept with it in a full size bed with me and Julie. It was a pretty full bed.

Sunday was also my birthday and it was a great day. Thank you to everyone for the gifts and birthday wishes. Addy sang Happy Birthday to me many times. We got home Sunday afternoon just in time to see Ronda and Danny (JD's aunt and uncle) who just flew back from Virginia visiting their first grandaugther, Camille, whom we cannot wait to meet this summer!
