Ok, I am just really not wanting to work on my on-line class so I thought I would give everyone an update since I havent written a post in a awhile. Where to start...
This month has been hectic since my class has started and I am finally getting Jackson and Addy on a schedule which leaves no time for myself although I am determined to find time to workout since I finally got permission from my doc. We have had a lot of visitors this last couple weeks too. Papa George came down for a couple days and then Great Grandpa/ma P. came down with all of the Pontious girls for an afternoon to ahh and ooh over the new baby and to play with Miss Addy. Poor Great Grandpa Rex loves playing with Addy but Addy decided that she is scared of him and stayed her distance - he was lucky enough to get a kiss goodbye though ;) Addy was sad to see Grandma go and cried Grandma for a while after they left.
Jackson is doing great! He is cooing, doing a lot of tracking, and he has gives the biggest grins when you smile and talk to him. I have tried getting a picture of his gorgeous smile but have failed almost every time. It is still hard to tell who he looks like. Sometimes he looks just like JD and other times, he looks just like Addison and a Meyer so only time will tell. He is just the perfect combination of a Meyer and a Birkenholz. I really hope he has his dad's height though! The only downfall to poor Jackson is that he is colicky like Addy was so nights are sometimes a little rough but it seems to be getting better with altering his nursing a little.
As for Addison...we have been potty training off and on for the last couple months but now that she understands so much more, we have been trying harder. But, it is pretty much her decision. I swear she wakes up and decides right there if she wants to use her potty chair. I have given into bribery and she gets jelly beans if she goes. Monday she wanted jelly beans so she went 5 times during the day, but on Wednesday, she didnt want any jelly beans so she refused to sit even once! What a stubborn girl - wonder where she gets it from...
This weekend is going to be a fun one for us! We are going on our first road trip since Jackson has been born. We are headed to Shenandoah for Festivas (our Christmas/Thanksgiving with Papa George) and to visit Grandma and the Pontious'. We cant wait to see everyone! Hopefully, I will have some good pictures to post when we get back on Sunday! Time to get back to schoolwork...
