Halloween '09

We have a had a rough month of the flu but fortunately the kids are pretty much over their illnesses...and thank goodness too since Halloween was right around the corner. Unfortunately, we didn't get to do all the fun things we had a planned since the kids were sick. We missed going to the pumpkin patch this year but fortunately we did get to carve a pumpkin the night before Halloween - that is all we had time for! JD drew a few designs and Addy picked her favorite - the winner was....


Friday, I took Addy to her daycare Halloween party where the kids dressed up and played fun games like pin the nose of the pumpkin, boo bowling, played boo, boo, ghost (duck, duck, goose), and they made cute gift bags. Addy picked out her Halloween costume the night before...she picked Strawberry Shortcake (no surprise)!




Saturday, we went trick or treating to a few neighbors, to Uncle Jeff's and Rebecca's, and then to Aunt Julie's and Uncle John's. By this point, our kids were exhausted and ready for bed so we called it a night.
