Tuesday

This past weekend was a busy one for us. Saturday, we had to take advantage of the 70 degree weather! It was gorgeous out and we spent a lot of our morning at the park. Addison made some new friends and had a blast chasing the older kids around. I feel a lot of trips to the park coming on this summer!!!

Sunday, Julie, Addy, Jackson, and I headed to my cousin Mike's place for a birthday party for his son, Ryan. He turned 3 years old, had a pirate theme party, and a treasure hunt! Then we had to hurry back home to get ready for our first superbowl party! Julie and John, Jeff, Rebecca, and Austin came over to watch the big game. We had tons of good food and lots of entertainment (Addy and Jackson). We are blessed to have family that live in the same city!

3-D Commercials = dorks

Unfortunately, the weekend ended and Monday came with lots to do. And since I had a lot to get done, today I woke up with a cold and have the worst headache (thank goodness I saved my pain pills from when I had Jackson). And thank goodness it is Tuesday because Addison has daycare of Tuesdays and I have a paper to write and a house to clean. I got errands done this morning and around 10, I got the dreaded phone call - Addy has a fever and wants to come home. Darn-it, there goes my Tuesday to get my work done! And poor Addy has the same thing I have - snotty nose and a probably a headache. No worries though - she has felt great since we have gotten home! The only thing she says is "Mamma, Brandi hurt my armpit." Brandi is her teacher and she took her temperature under her arm! So we took some motrin for her "arm." So, I might try to get a little done today and hopefully Addy will take a nap so I can work on my paper this afternoon.
