Do you remember in school how every class had its trouble-maker, teacher's pet, shy kid, brown noser? and it was every parents nightmare to be the parent of certain kids? Well, I took Addison to her Valentine's party Friday afternoon and it was one of the first time I was able to see Addy in her classroom enviroment for longer than 10 minutes. Her class has grown in the last year and there are 20 two-year olds in her class! We had fun eating cupcakes and candy and playing with stickers and balloons. Addy was her typical fun talkative self so I was surprise when the teachers said they have never heard Addison talk so much. I said that I would love to watch Addy in daycare for the day without her knowing I was there just to see how she acted and the teachers started telling me all the funny stuff Addy does. Well - I discovered what child I am the parent of...
Addison has a lounge chair that she typically spends more than half the day sitting in with a babydoll and whenever any other kid gets told what to do or gets instructed to go sit in time out, my sweet little Addy jumps up and will pull that poor little kid to time out giving them a lecture on what they did wrong. As I am listening to this, Addy's little friend Ryan opened the door to look in the hall. Addison jumps up and says "No no Ryan, keep that door shut" while grabbing Ryan by his shirt, pulls him back inside, and shuts the door. Well, at least I am not the mother of the trouble-maker!
Cheese!
Yummy Valentine Sucker!
Making a Valentine pizza with Aunt Juju (Julie's infamous heart shapped pizza!)
13.5 lbs, 23.5 inches tall stud muffin!
So tired after getting immunizations!

I love his fat little lips! I wish I could squeeze on him. Addy is such a big girl
ReplyDeletehaha, yeah, I don't think Addy talks nearly as much when she's in daycare, that's what i've noticed at least...and ryan is so adorable!! I miss them all. By the way, Addy's the sweet one--Ava's generally the brat.
