Jackson finally made it home from the hospital Tuesday afternoon right before the weather got bad. He has been getting some extra TLC as the delivery was a little traumatic for him. The cord was wrapped around his neck twice and he was looking quite blue so his clavicle was broken in order to get him out quick and his chest has a little scrape from the cord having to be cut early. It was pretty scary but he is fine and everything will heal hopefully within the next 4 weeks. Although it was rough going at first, all in all it was a quick and great delivery and we could not have asked for better doctors and nurses. They not only cared for me but for JD as well as he was sick the entire day with either food poisoning or some other nasty stomach bug. It was all pretty crazy! I was in labor and my husband spent the whole day in the bathroom getting sick!Everyone is adjusting well to having a new baby in the house. Addison is so happy to be a big sister. She calls Jackson her babydoll and always wants to know where "Jackon" is and wants to hold him. She has a little jealousy going on but was expected. She does not want me to hold the baby and tells me that I am her mommy. It is just taking her some time to get used to having to share her mommy and daddy. But other than that, everything has been going really good at home. It is really nice to have JD home from work for a few days. I couldnt imagine taking care of both Addy and Jackson by myself right now.
Thanks to all of our friends and family who have helped out with Addy and brought food and gifts. It is really appreciated and it is so wonderful to have such great family and friends to offer support. Thanks again to everyone! We want everyone to know that they are more than welcome to come and visit too! We love having visitors, not to mention love showing off our new little man!
