We have been home with Jackson for a few days now and although he sleeps, sleeps, and sleeps, his personality is starting to show and it is great! Compared to Addison at this age, he is very laid back. This morning, he was awake for over an hour and just hung out the whole time not making a sound just looking around. He didn't even care when Addy was in his face and messing with him. He does not have a loud cry at all and really only gets mad when he is hungry and right after he eats, he usually goes right back to sleep. I shouldnt jynx myself but YAH - finally a baby that enjoys his sleep!
Jackson left the hospital weighing 7 lbs 5 oz and already weighed a whole whopping 7 lbs 7 oz yesterday at his lactation appointment so he is eating well. He has his two week dr. appointment the end of next week so hopefully his shoulder is healing well and he continues to gain weight.
JD went back to work today. I dont think he was too excited to go, but at least he has the weekend. Fortunately, Julie took off of work today to help me out with Addy and around the house so I could get a little rest - thanks Julie! Addy has her moments but is still doing well with Jackson. The week has been long and a little rough on her without me able to do everything for her. Tonight, at bedtime she just wanted me to lie with her and then woke up a while later crying. I have a feeling that she is coming down with something, but it would not surprise me since she has kept so busy all week and it is that time of year! We will just have to cross our fingers that she stays healthy and doesnt give anything to Jackson.
