A Little Bit of Crazy: He's Making a List...

We took the kids on Monday to Crown Center to see Santa Clause. Crown Center has become our annual Christmas trip every year since they have so much to do. They have several toy stores, places to eat, candy stores, popcorn, the crayola center, a gingerbread village, trains and holiday trees set up outside, ice skating, and of course Santa.

We had fun walking around with the kids and then we had to wait in line (for an hour at least) to go and see Santa! I waited in line while JD played with the kids (he got the short end of the stick)! By the time we finally got through, Jackson was tired and grumpy! Addy was wired and was done listening so we were ready to see Santa! Addy played with another little girl that she met in line in the crayola village where they had to go up and down slides and through a tunnel to get to Santa's line.

Addy has been telling me all week what she wants from Santa and had been practicing telling him, but when we got up to see him she was a little shy so I really thought she was going to chicken out - she didn't. She stood directly in front of him, twirled her pigtails and stated " I want a pink guitar, a hello kitty thing, and a phone thing!" It was so comical! When Santa asked if she wanted to sit on his lap, she replied "No, I will sit right here though" and hopped up onto a little seat next to him. Jackson sat on Santa's lap even though he was a little crabby!
