A Little Bit of Crazy: Thanksgiving '09

This past week was rough! It started off with Addison complaining about her stomach hurting over the weekend but she never got sick and nothing came of it. Sunday night, however, Jackson got sick just once. Monday night, JD started getting sick and spent most of the night in the bathroom so on Tues and Wed, I disinfected the whole house while Addy was at daycare. I think I found the culprit. When I took Addy to daycare, I told them to call me if she started to not feel well and told them we have some bug going around in our house. The teacher said that they had 4-6 kids go home sick last week and the beginning of Thanksgiving week with a stomach bug. So...Thanksgiving was my holiday to work and I was so happy that I made it through the week without getting sick, or so I though. Wednesday night about halfway through my shift, I started to get nauseous, but I was hoping it was nothing. By morning I was sick! I was sick every 1/2 hour until 6:00 Thanksgiving night. Needless to say, I stayed home from work and we did absolutely nothing at home for Thanksgiving. I sent the kids over to our relatives that live close so they had something to do and could get away from me! So we decided to celebrate over the weekend!

On Friday, I felt a ton better but really weak, so we headed to JD's parents in Iowa since there was a lot of family back. The kids had a fun and it was really good to see all of his relatives that we rarely get to see. I dont think we have seen JD's cousin Chris in over 4 years!
