Taking a breather

I feel like I have been out of touch with everyone this past couple weeks. I have had to put a lot of things (housework, blogging) on the backburner so if I dont post too many posts this next couple months, it is because I have been extremely busy with well...life.

I started classes two weeks ago. I am taking 9 credit hours this semester and I am working on a HUGE community project - 150 hours huge - I am designing a teaching program for pregnant/post baby homeless teens living in a shelter. I am rather excited about this project but it is going to be a lot of work and is required for me to graduate this spring. Second, I have been working extra because I am on a mission to pay for hardwood floors for our house and we have Addy and Jackson's birthdays coming up so it will be nice to have a little extra cash on hand (I guess that means Christmas is coming up too).

Most importantly, I have been spending every minute I can get with my kids and husband. Addy and Jackson are growing up way too fast and I don't want to miss anything! Addison started dance classes for this fall and is in the big girl class! She is taking a combo class and they are called the Dazzlelettes and all the girls are absolutely adorable. I was a little unsure of how it was going to go as Addy is the youngest girl but I thought she was a little too old for the Mommy and Me class so they moved her up to the 3-5 year old class even though she is not 3 quite yet. She has done great so far. They are already preparing for their recital and her little group has 2 dances to perform. It is so fun watching them dance. The other mothers and I sit in the waiting room while the girls are in class and watch them on video from a camera that is in the classroom and then toward the end of the class, the girls come and get us to show us what they can do! Addy has made a lot of new friends - one in particular that she calls her "Lilly-belle" (her name is just Lilly and Addy added the Belle for some reason). Addy is not the only one to make some friends. One of the mothers have a little boy who is 10 months old and another with a 7 month old! Dance classes keep us busy on the weekends and we even have some parades that they are going to be in this fall too!
