slumber party

Is it bad that I have never left Addison or Jax overnight, excluding the nights I work, and even then, JD is with them? For almost 3 years now, I have lugged around Addy and now Jax around everywhere I go...until now. We had family over last night and Addison got really excited that Uncle Jeffy and Papa George were going to stay the night for a slumber party (they really werent going to), and then she got it in her head that she wanted to go to Uncle Jeffy's so she could see his girlfriend, Becca and her son Austin because they didn't make it to the cookout. We didn't really think she would go so Jeff took her out to the car (she was grinning with excitement from ear to ear the whole way), set her in the car and she never, no never backed down even once. So, I was faced with letting her go for the night to her very first slumber party at 2 1/2! I figured we would get a phone call to come and pick her up - no. She loved it. And when I called this morning at 9 to check on her, she didn't even want to talk to me because she was too busy playing with Uncle Jeffy.

I think this "slumber party" was hardest on me!
