Not Me! Monday

The time has come once again to be brutally honest about everything I did NOT do this past week...or past couple weeks since I totally did not forget to post my Not Me! Monday last week - oops!

Addy did not bring a tampon out of my bathroom the other day and say in a questioning sort of way "Here you go Mommy. This goes up your butt" - Absolutely NOT my daughter. And in NO WAY did she continue with nodding and ask me "Momma, I can put it up my butt?" - Not my curious daughter!

While on a road trip, I most certainly did not hate the endless road construction on the interstate and after hours and meeting new road construction, I did not refer to the pointless closed lanes when there was obviously nothing wrong with them just to look over at the closed lanes that happen to non-existent from all the construction. I did not continue try to save myself by explaining that for the previous 5 miles, there really was nothing wrong with the blocked off lanes! - Not me!

We did not drive the kids 3 1/2 hours to a wedding on Saturday and then drive all the way home at 11:30 the same night so we could get back at 2:30 AM and wake our kids up a few hours later so we could get ready to go to the Royals Game to tailgate and miss another much needed nap! Needless to say, JD, myself, and the kids were NOT exhausted when we got home last night!

And to get ready for the wedding - I did not feel that I need a much needed tan for this wedding so I did not buy Addy a sprinkler so I could lie out in the sun while she played in yard so I didn't have to entertain her for a while. Where was Jackson? He was not outside too sitting in the only shade I could find (behind the grill)!

I did not wake up this morning to Jackson wide awake lying in his crib at 7:00 (just a little too early for me). And since I wasn't ready to get up and start the day, I did not turn his moible on, set his mirror up so he could look at himself, and then head back to bed for 15 more minutes - Not me.
