not me! monday

Its Monday and you know what that means...

We are so not in the middle of potty training Addy so this absolutely did not happen. After going potty, Addy did not stand up, face the potty, stick her pelvis out, and state "This is how Daddy goes potty!" My two year old is not that observant!

My husband has not been religiously (and I mean 3-4 times a day) watching craigslist for a motorcycle...and since he is not doing this, he has not called and emailed several people for weeks now just to be disappointed so when someone listed "his" motorcycle yesterday, my husband did not know about it within an hour of the listing! He is so not planning a trip to Des Moines to look at this motorcycle, already has his parents lined up to trailer it down to him, and has not already sent an email to this guy! He did not ask to spend some of our tax return on a motorcycle and I did not bargain for hardwood floors because I do NOT bargain! - He is not getting a motorcycle and I am not getting hardwood floors!

My husband and I did not have a discussion regarding how old each other would be when we died. My hubby did not say that his addiction to candy will have no effect on how long he will live which did not lead to this conversation:

Hubby: I love candy. But sugar will not affect how long I am going to live.

Me: Yes it does. You will probably die of a heart attack!

Hubby: Sugar doesn't cause heart attacks.

Me: It can cause diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease, so yeah, it can ultimately cause a heart attack.

Hubby: Well, I guess I am going to die of a candy heart attack then! (At least he will die happy)!

We were so not snowed in this weekend just hang out with ourselves! And since we do not act like we are old, we did not stay up until 10:30 Saturday night watching tv. We were not excited to see that Lingo was on the game show network! We did not make fun of ourselves for watching Lingo at 10:30 on a Saturday night because seriously, what 26 year old married couple stay up late to watch Lingo and gets excited about it? - certainly NOT ME!
