not me! monday

Time to 'fess up! Not Me! Monday is here again!

I most certainly did not attempt to take Addy and Jackson to do some errands with me Friday 45 min. across town. I did not decide to try to take a shortcut home and get lost, and then did not stop by a McDonalds to buy Addy a happy meal so I could concentrate on finding my way back to the interstate because I never need to stop for directions - nope, Not Me! Jackson was not crying in the backseat either because he just loves his carseat!

My hubby did not make me buy 2 pints of Ben & Jerry's Karamel Core ice cream - one for him, one for me (because I NEVER end up eating his half). I did not eat all of my pint and then later in the week dive into his...I did not make a special trip to the grocery store to buy him another pint at the end of the week to try to hide what I had did - NOT ME! I did not get Addy hooked on Karamel Sutra either just for her to eat the caramel core (Daddy's favorite part) out of Daddy's pint!



I did not help Addison find an awesome hiding spot while playing hide and seek this weekend because I would never allow my child to climb in the dryer! And for fun, I did not allow Addy to give me a pedicure if I could give her one because that would just be silly of me to let a 2-year old paint my nails! "We" did not then attempt to paint Jackson's big toe red - Daddy was not upset and cover Jackson's toes with socks for the rest of the day!



My husband I did not attempt to take Addy and Jax shopping for a few hours over the weekend. Addy did NOT throw a tantrum and yell at her father "NO, I WANT TO GO OUT THERE, RIGHT NOW!" in a store - I did not ignore this behavior, pretend I did not know them, and continue to shop in the store with Jackson while JD took Addy outside for time out.

And last, we did not stay out until 11:00 Saturday night with our 2-year old and our 3 month old watching the Allman Brothers live in concert on tv at Uncle Jeff's house with a housefull of people! We would not let our children stay up that late just so we could have a good time - nope, Not Me!
