Not Me! Monday

My daughter did not find a way of reaching every lightswitch in the house with a toothbrush just so she can turn on every light the mear second I turn it off - Not my daughter because she is not sneaky. And I did not catch her trying to pick the lock of the sliding glass door trying to get it open with a pencil. I did not smile at this because I did not put a block behind the door keeping it from opening locking my 2 year-old in the house! I might see some of her father's engineering abilities in her!


I dont know what it is about my addiction to Target but everytime I go there, I seem to come home with a lot more than I really needed. It has turned into an addiction. When I was out of wipes this last week, I did not see that as a perfect opportunity to get my Target fix. I did not go to Target and buy wipes and a whole cart full of stuff while sipping on a Starbucks - Not me because I do not have that kind of time!

After putting Addison down for her nap the other day, I did not ignore hearing her playing in her room for another hour just so I could do some laundry and homework. And since she was asleep for that whole hour of her naptime, she did not take her diaper off, poop on the floor, and then carry it out for me too see because my daughter knows to poop in the potty!

Since Jackson is safe from the terrorism of Addy while in his crib, I did not see this as a good time to get a quick shower in before work - what was I thinking? I did not find Addy in Jax's crib when I got out...I have not taken a shower with Addison every day since this has occured to prevent this from happenng again!

I did not pass up a much needed night of homework so I could go out with some of the family to have a couple drinks - that would be pretty irresponsible of me! JD and I did not have candy cravings and actually go to the store just to buy candy and ice cream!
