My toddler has been driving me crazy with her "terrible twos." It has been bitterly cold out the past few days and Addy just can't stand being cooped up indoors so she has been bored and in need of entertainment which I can not give her every minute. She slams door, she back talks, and she just doesn't listen. I just had one of those days where I felt like all I said was "No" and "Go sit in time-out" and spent the rest of the day talking to Addy about why she is in time out.
Just when I was about to give up and cry, Jackson started crying so I asked Addison if she could go and give Jackson his pacifier. She hopped up and ran to the living room where Jackson was. I could hear her talking to him about his "pac" but he was still crying so I peaked in at them. Addy was gently holding Jackson's face saying "Whats wrong - its ok, its ok...ahh...your so cute" giving him a kiss on the cheek. Then Addy looked up at me and said"Mamma, I love him." Jackson is so blessed to have such a wonderful loving sister. She just melts my heart at just the right moments!
