Back to School

I started classes this past week on-line at UMKC. I am only taking one 6-credit class and is mostly busy work and writing so it keeps me busy and takes up a lot of my time. I am taking classes to get my BSN and when I am done with that, it will make me...drumroll....a RN! So, I feel like I am going to school for no reason but it is the only way to enter the MSN program and to move up in the field so for the next 2 years, I will be working towards what I already have! Crazy huh?

Not much else has been going on here. We finally had a weekend free and were able to go to a small waterpark with Addy (trying to get her ready for Florida). She liked it much better than a regular pool and she even went on the lazy river with us. For some reason, she will not get in our neighborhood pool but the zero entry helped at the park. We figured a few trips to a kids pool and she will be good to go in Florida. The next couple weekends I have to work and then we are busy again through the month of Sept. Then October will be here and it is off to Florida!

Addy makes me smile more and more everyday with new stuff that she says and does. She always tells me "Addy help" and has to do whatever I am doing. She emptied all the silverware out of the dishwasher the other day into a cuboard. I think it took JD longer to get all the silverware out of the cuboard then it took her to get it out of the dishwasher. And Addy is turning more and more girly every day. Her new obsession is putting her hair in a ponytail or pigtails over and over again. She has also been wearing my purses around the house and I still have to paint her toenails about every other day a different color! She keeps me busy all day. I have to admit that she is starting to turn me girly since I have to do all these things!

I came home from work the other morning to find that JD had gotten Addy up and ready for the day. She had asked JD to put her hair in a ponytail (she wont take no for an answer) and when I opened the door, Addy was standing at the top of the stairs with the biggest smile ever and said "Mommy, ponytail pretty and cute!" Poor JD...I think he is pretty glad our next is going to be a boy!
