4th of July

We had a great weekend over the 4th. We headed to Shen on Thursday evening and stayed with Grandma Meyer and then went to a parade Friday morning...Addy did not like the noise of the fire trucks and police cars so hid her head the entire parade, but she loved swinging in Great Grandma and Grandpa's swing afterwards. Then we headed out to Papa Meyer's where she swang some more and we had a BBQ with the Meyer clan. Then when it came time for fireworks, Addy hated them and wanted nothing to do with them; she wouldn't even look at them b/c of the noise. So we spent the majority the time indoors in the basement where it was quiet...I dont think that we will enjoy fireworks for a couple more years! When we got home on Sat., I think we all were exhausted and are still recovering today from all the excitement so I think that we will take it easy next weekend.
